During May, roofing over of the uppermost basement level (B01) advanced well and is now nearing completion. Works at ground floor (Level 00) also commenced, with the formation of columns and tower cores beneath tower Q1 and tower Q4 advancing steadily. Preparatory works for the first cast of the roofing over of this section are also under way. From here on in, slabs will be cast in-situ reinforced concrete, using proprietary void formers within the thickness of the slab. This will reduce the self-weight of the concrete and enhance the strength of the concrete slab. Construction works in the electrical switch room, sub-station and the circular ramps connecting the different basement levels are also nearing completion.
